We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our café ( Brown's Bakery). The ideal candidate will help manage the team, ensure smooth day-to-day operations, maintain high service standards, and deliver an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the café.
- Supervise, motivate, and support the team during shifts.
- Ensure excellent customer service and promptly resolve customer concerns.
- Monitor staff attendance, shift schedules, and overall performance.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and front-of-house teams for smooth operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and minimize stock wastage.
- Prepare daily sales and operational reports.
- Train new team members and ensure company SOPs are followed.
- Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving sales and operational goals.
Requirements:
- Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
- 2–5 years of experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality industry.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or Assistant Manager role is an advantage.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems, inventory management, and MS Office.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Salary: 22,000-24000
