The Course Coordinator is responsible for coordinating academic or training programs, ensuring effective course delivery, maintaining communication between faculty and students, and supporting administrative and operational activities to achieve educational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the planning, scheduling, and execution of courses and training programs.
- Prepare and maintain course timetables, academic calendars, and class schedules.
- Act as the primary point of contact for students, trainers, and faculty regarding course-related matters.
- Monitor student attendance, progress, and course completion.
- Coordinate with faculty for lesson plans, assessments, and course materials.
- Ensure classrooms, learning resources, and training materials are available before sessions.
- Manage student enrollment, onboarding, and orientation activities.
- Maintain accurate academic records, reports, and documentation.
- Support examinations, assessments, grading, and certification processes.
- Address student queries and resolve academic or administrative issues promptly.
- Collect and analyze student feedback to improve course quality.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as Admissions, HR, Finance, and Operations.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies and accreditation requirements.
- Prepare periodic reports on course performance, attendance, and outcomes.
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives for curriculum and learning delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Master's degree is an added advantage.
- Relevant experience in academic coordination, training coordination, or education administration.
