Position: Tandoor Chef
Department: Kitchen / Food Production
Reports To: Executive Chef / Head Chef / General Manager
Job Summary
The Chef is responsible for planning, preparing, and presenting high-quality food while maintaining hygiene, food safety, and kitchen standards. The Chef ensures guest satisfaction through excellent food quality, proper kitchen operations, and effective team management.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Ensure consistent food quality, taste, and portion control.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen as per food safety standards.
- Monitor food stock levels and inform management of purchasing requirements.
- Ensure proper storage of food items following FIFO and FEFO procedures.
- Supervise and guide kitchen staff in daily operations.
- Minimize food wastage and control kitchen costs.
- Maintain all kitchen records, temperature logs, and food safety documentation.
- Ensure compliance with FSMS, FSSAI, HACCP, and company policies.
- Coordinate with the Food & Beverage Service team for smooth operations.
- Handle guest feedback related to food and take corrective actions when required.
- Participate in menu planning and development of new dishes.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in hotel, resort, restaurant, or catering operations.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.

Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Forest Club Resort, Karjat, Maharashtra.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
