Job Summary
Sri Arogya Hospital is seeking an experienced and dynamic Hospital Administrator to oversee the day-to-day operations of the hospital, ensuring efficient service delivery, regulatory compliance, patient satisfaction, staff coordination, and optimal utilization of resources. The Hospital Administrator will play a key role in driving operational excellence and supporting the hospital's strategic growth initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesHospital Operations Management
- Oversee the overall administration and smooth functioning of OPD, IPD, Emergency, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Radiology, and other support services.
- Ensure efficient utilization of hospital resources, infrastructure, and manpower.
- Monitor operational performance and implement process improvements.
- Develop and maintain hospital policies, SOPs, and administrative procedures.
Patient Experience & Quality Management
- Ensure high standards of patient care and customer service.
- Address patient grievances and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor patient satisfaction and implement improvement initiatives.
- Support NABH accreditation standards and quality assurance programs.
Human Resource Coordination
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management activities.
- Manage staff scheduling and workforce planning.
- Foster a positive work environment and employee engagement.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and hospital HR policies.
Financial & Business Management
- Monitor hospital revenue, expenses, and operational budgets.
- Coordinate with the Accounts Department for billing, collections, and financial reporting.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
- Support business development and growth initiatives.
Regulatory & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, government guidelines, biomedical waste management rules, fire safety norms, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain hospital licenses, registrations, and regulatory documentation.
- Coordinate inspections and audits by regulatory authorities.
Vendor & Facility Management
- Manage vendor contracts, procurement activities, and service agreements.
- Oversee maintenance of hospital equipment, facilities, and infrastructure.
- Ensure uninterrupted availability of utilities and essential services.
Clinical Coordination
- Work closely with doctors, nursing teams, and department heads to ensure seamless operations.
- Facilitate interdepartmental communication and coordination.
- Monitor operational KPIs and department performance.
Reporting & Strategic Planning
- Prepare monthly MIS and operational reports for management.
- Analyze operational metrics and recommend corrective actions.
- Participate in strategic planning, expansion projects, and hospital development initiatives.
Qualifications
- MBA in Hospital Administration / Healthcare Management, MHA, PGDHM, or equivalent qualification.
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5–10 years of hospital administration experience, preferably in a multi-specialty hospital.
