Key roles and responsibilities
Handle Electric Vehicle (EV) CMVR, AIS, IS, ECE, and EEC certification requirements and compliance activities.
Thoroughly interpret, understand, and apply automotive regulations and standards relevant to vehicle certification.
Prepare, review, and maintain certification documentation, ensuring compliance with homologation procedures.
Assess the certification impact of design changes at both system and vehicle levels.
Plan, coordinate, and execute development, pre-homologation, certification, and CoP (Conformity of Production) activities.
Manage and monitor certification testing activities at agencies such as ARAI, iCAT, GARC, VRDE, VCA, IDIADA, and TÜV.
Develop and manage budgets, timelines, resource plans, and cost estimations for certification projects.
Maintain effective coordination with internal teams and certification authorities, ensuring smooth execution of certification programs.
Track and monitor upcoming regulatory changes, proactively planning compliance and certification activities in line with program timelines.
Experience
3 to 6 years

Qualifications
B.E or M.E. Mechanical/Automobile Engineering
General Requirements
Thorough knowledge of automotive regulations.
Comprehensive knowledge of whole-vehicle certification testing activities.
Excellent soft skills and interpersonal abilities.
Good knowledge and hands-on experience in handling and operating various instrumentation and data acquisition systems.
