Job Purpose
The Community Mobiliser will support the implementation of the Project on Child Education by engaging with children, parents, and the community to ensure access to quality education, reduce school dropouts, and create a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct door-to-door visits and community surveys to identify out-of-school and dropout children.
· Mobilize children and parents for enrollment in schools and Child Activity Centres.
· Support school admission and re-enrollment processes for children.
· Raise awareness among parents and community members about the importance of education.
· Ensure regular follow-up with families to improve student attendance and retention.
· Organize enrollment drives, education campaigns, and community awareness programs.
· Facilitate educational camps, learning camps, and community meetings.
· Assist children and families in obtaining or updating essential documents such as Aadhaar Cards, Birth Certificates, and other educational documents.
· Coordinate with government schools, local authorities, and education departments to support children's education.
· Conduct home visits to monitor children's attendance, participation, and learning progress.
· Support educational, recreational, and life-skill activities at Child Activity Centres.
· Promote child rights, child protection, and access to quality education within the community.
· Maintain beneficiary records, collect data, and prepare field reports.
· Organize and support project events, workshops, and community engagement activities.
· Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, community leaders, teachers, and stakeholders.
· Collect community feedback and share insights with the project team.
· Contribute to achieving project targets related to enrollment, attendance, retention, and learning outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or any related field.
- Experience in community development, education, teaching, or NGO projects will be preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and counselling skills.
- Ability to work effectively with children, parents, and community members.
- Good record-keeping and reporting skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluency in Hindi; knowledge of English will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in education, community mobilization, teaching, or social development projects preferred.

Working Conditions
