Job Description: Executive-Business Development

Experience: 2-4 Years

Position Summary:

The incumbent will lead and drive the growth initiatives at Vedic Cosmeceuticals, focusing on expanding the domestic and international client base, increasing revenue from existing clients, and managing a team of business development officers. Reporting directly to the Directors, this role is critical to achieving the company's revenue targets and long-term strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Growth:

Identify and acquire new domestic and international business opportunities.
Drive incremental business from existing clients through proactive account management and relationship building.

Team Management:

Lead and mentor a team of business development officers, ensuring they meet their individual and team targets.
Foster a high-performance culture and provide regular training and feedback.

Lead Management:

Maintain and track all new and existing leads through CRM tools.
Actively follow up on leads generated through marketing efforts, ensuring optimal conversion rates.

Client Relations & Key Account Management:

Establish strong relationships with key clients, acting as the primary point of contact.
Implement proactive and dynamic account management strategies to exceed client expectations.

Operational Coordination:

Collaborate with internal departments (R&D, QA, QC, and production) to ensure timely and error-free deliveries.
Oversee product costing and ensure alignment with client requirements and company profitability goals.

Strategic Planning & Reporting:

Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Prepare and present regular performance reports to the Directors, highlighting progress, challenges, and solutions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Skills:

Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency in product costing and CRM tools.

Key Competencies:

Results-oriented with a focus on revenue growth.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage priorities effectively.
