Position: Senior QA Engineer
Experience: 5+ Years in Quality Assurance / Quality Engineering
Required Skills & Responsibilities:
Quality Strategy & Ownership
- Full ownership of QA across features and releases
- Define test strategy, test coverage, and quality standards
Manual & Exploratory Testing
- Perform risk-based, regression, usability/UX validation testing
- Analyze defects and ensure issues are clearly documented and communicated
API & Backend Testing
- REST API testing — validating endpoints, authentication & authorization
- Automate API test scenarios where feasible
Database & Data Testing
- Write and execute SQL for data validation
- Perform data integrity checks and API-to-DB verification
Automation Testing
- Develop and maintain automation for Web and API testing
- Enhance automation framework for scalability, stability, and reusability
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with messaging systems like Kafka / OpenSearch
- AWS testing knowledge (CloudWatch, S3, Cognito)
- CI/CD integration — automation pipelines, shift-left testing mindset
Role Expectations:
- Lead and own quality delivery for products and releases
- Mentor and guide junior QA team members
- Drive continuous improvement in QA processes and tools
