Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and Sanitation:
- Washing dishes, pots, pans, glassware, and other kitchen utensils by hand or using commercial dishwashers.
- Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, floors, walls, and work surfaces.
- Maintaining general kitchen hygiene and following safety procedures.
- Kitchen Maintenance:
- Properly disposing of kitchen waste and separating recyclables.
- Keeping the kitchen organized and stocked with clean dishes and equipment.
- Assisting with receiving and storing food and other supplies.
- Monitoring cleaning supplies and reporting shortages.
- Support and Assistance:
- Providing general support to chefs and other kitchen staff as needed.
- Assisting with basic food preparation tasks such as washing and peeling vegetables, if required.
- Inventory and Stocking:
- Keeping track of cleaning supplies and kitchen inventory.
- Transporting food supplies from storage areas to the kitchen.
