Job Description – ELV Technician
We are seeking a qualified and experienced ELV Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, test, and maintain ELV systems including:
- CCTV Systems
- Access Control Systems
- Fire Alarm Systems
- Structured Cabling
- Public Address (PA) Systems
- Intercom Systems
- SMATV Systems
- Perform cable laying, termination, labeling, and testing
- Configure and troubleshoot ELV equipment and network devices
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and layouts
- Coordinate with supervisors and project teams during installations
- Ensure all work is completed according to safety and quality standards
- Prepare service reports and maintenance records
Requirements
- Experience in installation and maintenance of ELV systems
- Knowledge of structured cabling and networking
- Ability to troubleshoot system faults effectively
- Familiarity with ELV tools and testing equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Networking or related field
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in ELV systems
