Punjab Commercial College is seeking a skilled and motivated Computer Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of modern programming languages and a passion for developing efficient, user-friendly software solutions. This role involves designing, coding, testing, and maintaining applications to support the college’s academic and administrative needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain software applications and systems
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using modern programming languages
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software
- Collaborate with staff to understand technical requirements
- Ensure software security and data protection standards
- Maintain proper documentation of programs and systems
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Strong knowledge of modern programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#
- Familiarity with web development (HTML, CSS, frameworks) is a plus
- Understanding of databases (MySQL, SQL Server, etc.)
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in educational or institutional software systems
- Knowledge of mobile app development
- Familiarity with cloud platforms or modern development tools
