Franchise Manager – Preschool
Location - Kerala
The Franchise Manager is responsible for expanding the preschool network by identifying, onboarding, and supporting franchise partners while ensuring operational excellence across existing centres. The role involves franchise sales, business development, relationship management, operational support, training coordination, and ensuring compliance with the brand's quality standards.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent business development skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and a passion for the education sector.
Key Responsibilities
1. Franchise Development
- Identify and generate qualified franchise leads.
- Conduct franchise presentations and business opportunity meetings.
- Explain the preschool business model, investment requirements, and ROI.
- Manage the complete franchise sales cycle from enquiry to agreement.
- Negotiate commercial terms within company guidelines.
- Achieve monthly and annual franchise acquisition targets.
2. Business Development
- Develop new markets and expansion strategies.
- Identify high-potential territories for new preschool centres.
- Conduct demographic and market feasibility studies.
- Build relationships with property consultants and business networks.
- Participate in franchise exhibitions, education fairs, and networking events.
3. Franchise Onboarding
- Coordinate franchise documentation and agreement execution.
- Assist franchisees during centre setup.
- Coordinate with architecture, branding, procurement, and operations teams.
- Ensure timely launch of new centres.
- Track project timelines until inauguration.
4. Franchise Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with franchise partners.
- Conduct regular business review meetings.
- Address franchise concerns professionally.
- Ensure franchise satisfaction and retention.
- Act as the primary point of contact between franchisees and the corporate office.
5. Operational Support
- Monitor operational performance of franchise centres.
- Ensure compliance with brand standards and SOPs.
- Review enrolment numbers and operational KPIs.
- Assist franchisees in improving admissions and profitability.
- Coordinate operational audits and corrective action plans.
6. Admissions & Marketing Support
- Support franchisees with local marketing initiatives.
- Guide centres on admission campaigns.
- Coordinate digital marketing activities with the corporate marketing team.
- Monitor lead generation and admission conversion.
- Recommend community engagement programmes and promotional activities.
7. Training & Quality Assurance
- Coordinate induction and ongoing training for franchise teams.
- Ensure implementation of academic and operational standards.
- Conduct periodic quality assessments.
- Promote best practices across all franchise locations.
8. Reporting & MIS
- Maintain franchise CRM records.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Monitor franchise pipeline and conversion ratios.
- Submit business performance reports to management.
- Maintain documentation related to franchise operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
- 4–5 years of experience in franchise development, business development, education, retail, or service industries.
- Experience in the preschool or education sector is an added advantage.
