Job Title: Ward Secretary

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Ward Secretary to support the daily administrative operations of the hospital ward. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in a hospital environment, strong communication skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with doctors, nurses, patients, and other departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update patient records, admission, discharge, and transfer details.
- Coordinate communication between doctors, nurses, patients, and hospital departments.
- Schedule patient appointments, investigations, and follow-up procedures.
- Prepare and manage ward documentation, reports, and medical files.
- Handle telephone calls, patient inquiries, and visitor coordination professionally.
- Ensure accurate data entry into hospital management systems.
- Support nursing staff with administrative and clerical tasks.
- Monitor ward supplies and coordinate with stores/pharmacy when required.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and hospital records.
- Assist in billing coordination and insurance documentation if needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting as a Ward Secretary, Front Office Executive, or similar role.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
