Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Compliance Officer to oversee and ensure adherence to all statutory, legal, social, environmental, and regulatory compliance requirements of the organization. The candidate should possess strong knowledge of environmental compliance, excellent communication skills, and a professional & presentable personality.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Handle environmental compliances including Pollution Control Board norms, waste management, hazardous waste disposal, ETP/STP compliance, air & water consent renewals, etc.
Monitor factory compliances related to labor laws, factory act, fire safety, health & safety standards.
Coordinate and manage internal & external compliance audits.
Maintain and update all compliance records, licenses, certificates, and statutory documents.
Liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies whenever required.
Ensure timely submission of statutory returns and renewals.
Conduct compliance training and awareness sessions for employees.
Prepare reports, presentations, and compliance dashboards for management review.
Support ESG, sustainability, and CSR-related compliance initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong knowledge of all types of compliance, especially Environmental Compliance.
Good understanding of labor laws, factory compliance, and statutory regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Presentable personality with professional conduct.
Strong documentation and reporting skills.
Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and external agencies.
Proficient in MS Office and compliance documentation systems.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Law / Environmental Science / Industrial Safety / Management or related field.
Additional certifications in Environmental or Compliance Management will be preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Experience in manufacturing/export industry preferred.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and handle compliance matters efficiently.
