Key ResponsibilitiesFood Preparation
- Prepare ingredients and dishes according to standardized recipes.
- Assist in the preparation of Misal Pav, snacks, beverages, and café menu items.
- Ensure food is prepared and served with consistency in taste and presentation.
- Maintain proper portion control standards.
Kitchen Operations
- Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen activities.
- Ensure all kitchen stations remain organized and operational.
- Support smooth kitchen operations during peak service hours.
- Help coordinate order preparation to minimize customer waiting time.
Hygiene & Food Safety
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients.
- Report any food quality or safety concerns immediately.
Inventory Support
- Assist in stock management and daily inventory checks.
- Inform the Head Chef about low-stock items and shortages.
- Help reduce food wastage through proper storage and usage practices.
- Participate in stock receiving and verification.
Teamwork
- Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen staff.
- Support training of junior kitchen staff when required.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude in the workplace.
- Follow instructions and operational procedures effectively.
