Network Engineer Trainee | Location - Mohali
Roles and Responsibilities
- Install, Configure and Manage various network devices & services (Routers, Switches, Firewalls, CFS, etc)
- Monitor & Manage the Cloud servers deployed in Amazon AWS, Windows Azure, etc.
- Monitor the availability of multiple Internet connections and ensure any identified issues are addressed quickly.
- Responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security.
- Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats.
- Monitor various network resources utilization & trending to align the capacity planning
- Work with established configuration and change management practices to ensure awareness, approval, and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
- Maintenance of user desktops, laptops, and other IT equipment.
- Need to support multiple operating systems used by the users (Windows, Linux, and Mac OS)
- Installation and any ongoing troubleshooting related to the installation of various applications used by the developers.
- Proactive patching of firmware, OS, and Antivirus profiles to have a secure and stable system environment.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Ability to Install, Configure & Troubleshoot Operating systems and Software applications
- Good understanding of OSI model, TCP/IP Protocol Suite
- Good troubleshooting approach
- Good understanding of Computer architecture and components (CPU, RAM, Hard disk, etc)
- Good understanding of DNS, FTP, SFTP, DHCP concepts.
- To have good fundamentals on various networking devices (Routers, Switches, Gateways, Firewalls, VPN server/gateway, etc.)
Pay: Up to ₹15,000.00 per month
