Job Title: Phlebotomist-cum-Healthcare Supervisor (Male/ Female)

Job Description:
A poly-clinic with an integrated diagnostic laboratory (sample collection centre) and generic pharmacy is inviting applications for the position of Phlebotomist-cum-Healthcare Supervisor. The selected candidate will work in a multi-tasking role, managing laboratory sample collection centre (NABL accredited top national-level labs) and coordinating operational activities between the laboratory, pharmacy, and specialist OPD clinics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform blood sample collection (phlebotomy) and handle other diagnostic sample collections.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and dispatch of samples to the diagnostic laboratory.
- Maintain basic records and reports using computer applications (Excel/Word).
- Coordinate between the sample collection centre, pharmacy, and OPD to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Assist in patient registration, reporting, and communication when required.
- Maintain hygiene, safety, and quality protocols in the sample collection area.
- Support general administrative and supervisory tasks within the clinic as needed.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Qualification: DMLT (Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology) or equivalent / or recognized qualification as Phlebotomist
- Skills Required:
- Proficiency in phlebotomy and sample handling
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel and MS Word)
- Good communication and patient handling skills
- Ability to work in a multi-tasking clinical environment, requiring coordination between lab, generic Pharmacy and specialist OPD clinics.
- Salary plus incentives applicable
Experience:
- Prior experience in a diagnostic lab, clinic, or hospital will be preferred, though freshers may also apply.
Preferred locations:
- In and around Garia, Narendrapur, Sonarpur, Baruipur ( and adjacent locations in South Kolkata and South 24 Parganas district). This is an immediate requirement.
