Job Context:
The Legal department would validate the regulatory & compliance requirements for the new business initiatives and product launches, conclude the litigations raised by or against the company, establish a sound corporate governance framework, execute legal agreements and provide transactional support in the investment processes.
State / Area Legal Manager is responsible for providing assistance for all legal requirements of the organization pertaining to the litigation aspect. He/ she would provide complete assistance to the Regional Legal Manager. This would include coordination with counsels for litigation, assisting in legal / statutory audits and maintaining detailed MIS and coverage reports of the proceedings.
The major challenges in this role are keeping abreast of the latest legal/statutory amendments, knowledge about various legal documents & liaisoning with multiple regulators
