About the Role
StartupFlora is looking for a Business Development Associate (BDA) to support client acquisition and business growth initiatives. The candidate will be responsible for identifying potential clients, generating leads, conducting consultations, and supporting the sales process.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and connect with potential clients
* Generate and qualify leads through calls, emails, and networking
* Explain consultancy services and solutions to prospective clients
* Maintain relationships with clients and partners
* Achieve monthly sales and business targets
* Coordinate with internal teams for client onboarding and support
* Maintain accurate sales records and follow-ups
* Stay updated with market trends and industry developments
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field
* 0–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or client handling
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Good negotiation and presentation abilities
* Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools
* Self-motivated and target-oriented approach
Preferred Skills
* Experience in lead generation or sales
* Understanding of startups or consultancy services
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
