An AC Technician in the hotel industry is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing air conditioning and ventilation systems to ensure guest comfort and smooth hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service, and repair air conditioning systems and equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance of HVAC systems
- Troubleshoot AC breakdowns and electrical/control faults
- Maintain split ACs, centralized AC systems, chillers, AHUs, and FCUs
- Monitor cooling systems in guest rooms, banquet halls, restaurants, and public areas
- Attend guest complaints related to air conditioning promptly
- Check gas levels, compressors, thermostats, filters, and duct systems
- Coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams
- Maintain daily maintenance logs and service reports
- Follow hotel safety and maintenance standards
