Summary:
As a Data Engineer, Design, develop and optimize robust data pipeline and ETL processes for large-scale data sets in Azure. You will be responsible for creating efficient data pipelines that facilitate smooth data flow across various systems. Ensuring the accuracy and quality of data is a key part of your role, along with implementing processes to extract, transform, and load data effectively. Your work enables seamless data migration and deployment, supporting the broader data infrastructure and analytics needs of the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable data solutions.
- Monitor and optimize data workflows to improve performance and reliability.
- Document data processes and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
- Assist junior team members in understanding data engineering concepts and best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Engineering, ETL, data pipelines, Python, Azure services, Ansible.
- Nice to have: SQL, databases, data warehouse, DevOps, software development, REX, Real-time processing (Kafka), big data.
- Strong knowledge of data pipeline architecture and ETL process design.
- Experience with data storage solutions and database management.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and distributed computing.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data quality and integration issues.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Data Engineering.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
