As a Technology Platform Engineer, a typical day involves setting up and managing both production and non-production cloud environments tailored for various projects or products. This role includes deploying automation pipelines to streamline processes and automating the creation and configuration of environments. The position requires continuous collaboration with different teams to ensure that the platform infrastructure supports project needs efficiently and reliably, while maintaining a focus on scalability and operational excellence.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand environment requirements and deliver appropriate platform solutions.
- Monitor and maintain cloud environments to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Document environment configurations and automation processes to support knowledge sharing and operational continuity.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in environment setup and automation tasks.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Utilities Customer to Meter C2M SPL.
- Experience with cloud environment provisioning and management.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting for environment configuration.
- Understanding of deployment pipelines and continuous integration/continuous deployment processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to platform environments.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Oracle Utilities Customer to Meter C2M SPL.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
