We are looking for a skilled and responsible SEO Executive who can work on service-based websites, ecommerce websites, local businesses, and international SEO projects. The candidate should have practical knowledge of SEO activities and should be able to support the team in improving website rankings, traffic, visibility, and overall organic performance.
Job Summary
The SEO Executive will be responsible for planning and executing SEO activities for different types of projects, including domestic and international websites. The role requires hands-on experience in on-page SEO, technical SEO, off-page SEO, keyword research, content optimization, competitor analysis, and SEO reporting.
The candidate should have a clear understanding of how search engines work and should be able to implement SEO strategies as per the project goals, target market, and business category.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform keyword research for service-based, ecommerce, local, and international websites.
- Work on on-page SEO activities, including meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, internal linking, image alt tags, and content optimization.
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify SEO opportunities and improvement areas.
- Optimize website pages for better search engine visibility, user experience, and conversion potential.
- Work on technical SEO checks such as sitemap, robots.txt, canonical tags, page speed, indexing issues, broken links, redirections, and schema markup.
- Support ecommerce SEO activities including product page optimization, category page optimization, product descriptions, product URLs, and structured data.
- Plan and execute off-page SEO activities including quality backlinks, business listings, guest posting, article submission, profile creation, and other relevant link-building activities.
- Work on local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization for location-based businesses.
- Coordinate with the content team for blog topics, landing page content, website content updates, and SEO-friendly content creation.
- Track keyword rankings, website traffic, organic performance, and SEO growth through tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms.
- Prepare weekly and monthly SEO reports for internal review and client updates.
- Monitor website performance and suggest improvements based on SEO data.
- Stay updated with the latest Google algorithm updates, SEO trends, AI search updates, and digital marketing best practices.
- Coordinate with developers for technical SEO implementation wherever required.
- Manage multiple SEO projects and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Practical knowledge of on-page SEO, off-page SEO, technical SEO, and local SEO.
- Good understanding of Google Search Console, Google Analytics, keyword ranking tools, and SEO audit tools.
- Experience in handling both service-based and ecommerce websites.
- Understanding of domestic and international SEO strategies.
- Knowledge of keyword research, competitor analysis, and content optimization.
- Basic understanding of HTML, website structure, CMS platforms, and URL optimization.
- Ability to identify SEO issues and suggest practical solutions.
- Good written communication skills for SEO content briefs, reports, and coordination.
- Ability to work on multiple projects with proper planning and ownership.
- Strong interest in learning new SEO trends, AI SEO, and search engine updates.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with WordPress, Shopify, Magento, Laravel-based websites, or custom ecommerce platforms.
- Basic knowledge of schema markup and structured data.
- Understanding of ecommerce SEO for product, category, and collection pages.
- Experience in international SEO projects will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of AI-driven search visibility, GEO, and content discovery optimization will be preferred.
