Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder / Fabricator with at least 1 years of hands-on experience in metal fabrication, assembly, and welding. In this role, you will read technical blueprints, cut and prepare materials, align parts, and weld metal structures to exact specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Fitting & Assembly: Measure, mark, cut, and align metal parts according to engineering drawings and technical blueprints.
- Welding: Perform ARC, MIG, or TIG welding processes on various metals (mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum) to produce clean, high-strength joints.
- Tool Operation: Safely operate workshop equipment, including grinders, drill presses, band saws, and plasma cutters.
- Quality & Precision: Inspect completed welds and fits using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, square gauges) to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Maintenance & Safety: Maintain tools and welding equipment; strictly follow workshop health, safety, and environmental protocols.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: ITI Certificate in Fitter Trade (Mandatory).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of practical experience as a Fitter or Welder in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Proficiency in fitting techniques, layout, alignment, and standard welding techniques.
- Good physical endurance
Preferred Skills (Bonus)
- Multi-process welding capability.
- Basic knowledge of structural steel fabrication or piping assemblies.
