We are looking for a professional and welcoming Receptionist to act as the primary face and voice of our company. In this critical entry-level role, you will manage our front desk on a daily basis and perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Your main goal is to make visitors feel comfortable, ensure smooth communications, and maintain a highly organized front office.Key ResponsibilitiesVisitor Management & Hospitality
- Greet and welcome clients, vendors, and guests warmly as soon as they arrive.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate employee, department, or meeting room.
- Offer refreshments to waiting clients and ensure the lobby remains professional. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Communications & Scheduling
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls via a multi-line system.
- Manage calendar bookings for conference rooms and log staff appointments.
- Monitor the central inbox, responding to basic inquiries or routing emails properly.
Administrative & Clerical Support
- Sort and distribute incoming daily mail, couriers, and office deliveries.
- Track office inventory, ordering front office supplies and keeping stock levels steady.
- Perform clerical tasks including data entry, copying, scanning, and filing records.
Security & Office Upkeep
- Maintain office safety by tracking the visitor logbook and issuing guest badges.
- Ensure reception cleanliness so the front zone remains tidy and presentable.
Requirements and SkillsExperience & Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor's degree is a plus.
- 1–3 years of experience as a receptionist, front desk agent, or administrative clerk is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Hands-on office tech experience with printers, multi-line phone networks, and scanners.
- Fast typing speeds (minimum 35–40 words per minute) are highly beneficial.
Core Soft Skills
- Excellent communication skills, covering polite phone etiquette and professional email writing.
- Multitasking under pressure to balance walk-in visitors while managing a ringing phone line.
- Strong time-management skills to prioritize administrative daily check-lists efficiently.
- Polished, professional appearance and an approachable, customer-centric attitude.
Pay: ₹8,597.83 - ₹23,997.00 per month
