We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Factory Manager to lead and oversee all manufacturing operations, including machining, casting, forging, quality, maintenance, production planning, and workforce management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, optimizing costs, improving productivity, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the factory.

Key Responsibilities
Production & Operations Management
- Lead end-to-end factory operations covering machining, casting, forging, and assembly activities.
- Ensure achievement of production targets, delivery schedules, quality requirements, and operational KPIs.
- Optimize utilization of CNC, VMC, HMC, and other manufacturing resources.
- Monitor daily production performance and implement corrective actions to eliminate bottlenecks.
- Develop and execute production plans in coordination with planning, procurement, and sales teams.
Process Improvement & Productivity
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce cycle times, minimize scrap, and increase machine utilization.
- Implement best practices for manufacturing efficiency and operational excellence.
- Monitor OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and implement improvement programs.
Quality Management
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, and internal procedures.
- Work closely with quality teams to reduce defects, rework, and customer complaints.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action programs.
Maintenance & Asset Management
- Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance of CNC, VMC, HMC, and supporting equipment.
- Minimize machine downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for timely breakdown resolution.
Workforce Leadership
- Lead, motivate, and develop production supervisors, engineers, operators, and support staff.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance reviews, skill development programs, and succession planning.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, statutory requirements, and environmental standards.
- Promote a strong safety culture and conduct regular safety audits and training.
- Ensure compliance with ISO and other applicable quality and manufacturing standards.
Cost Control & Budget Management
- Monitor manufacturing costs and implement cost-reduction initiatives.
- Manage factory budgets, manpower costs, consumables, and production expenses.
- Improve profitability through operational efficiency and waste reduction.
Customer & Vendor Coordination
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Support new product development, process validation, and customer audits.
- Ensure timely resolution of production-related customer concerns.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Master's degree or MBA is an advantage.
Experience
- 10–15+ years of manufacturing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong experience in Machining, Casting, and Forging operations.
- Hands-on knowledge of CNC, VMC, HMC machining centers, tooling, fixtures, and production processes.
- Experience managing medium to large-scale manufacturing facilities.
