This is a full-time, on-site Pastry Chef role based in Surat. The Pastry Chef will be responsible in preparing and baking variety of cakes, pastries, and desserts according to established recipes and standards. Day-to-day taste include measuring and mixing ingredients, operating bakery equipments, decorating and finishing products. the role also involves maintaining a clean and safe kitchen, following food safety and hygiene standards, managing inventory of baking supplies, and ensuring timely production for daily orders. The Pastry Chef with collaborate closely with the kitchen team to meet production schedules and maintain consistent product quality.
Qualifications:
-Strong baking skills, with experience producing pastries, cakes and desserts.
- Solid food preparation and cooking abilities, including measuring, mixing and handling ingredients safely.
- Demonstrated culinary skills, including basic pastry techniques, use of bakery equipments, and attention to presentation.
-Understanding of food safety, hygiene standards and kitchen cleanliness practices.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately while also assisting in product improvement and new item development.
- Good time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
-Prior experience in a bakery, pastry shop, hotel or restaurant kitchen is preferred.
- Relevant culinary or bakery certification or diploma is an added advantage.
- Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed based on business demands.
Pay: From ₹11,179.55 per month
