JOB TITLE: Purchase Executive – Project Procurement (Brownfield Expansion)

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities exclusively for our Brownfield Expansion Project. This role focuses on capital equipment and project procurement for DRI, CPP, SMS, Rolling Mill, Structural Steel, Refractories, and allied systems—not routine plant purchases.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Graduate/Postgraduate (Engineering, Supply Chain, Materials Management preferred)
- 3–7 years of experience in industrial/capital project procurement
- Experience in steel, power, EPC, or heavy manufacturing preferred
- Strong negotiation and vendor development skills
- Proficiency in Excel; ERP knowledge is an advantage
KEY WORK:
- End-to-end project procurement from RFQ to PO closure
- Vendor identification, evaluation, and development
- Prepare technical & commercial comparative statements
- Negotiate pricing, delivery, and payment terms
- Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and project teams
- Track purchase orders, deliveries, and project timelines
- Maintain vendor database and procurement reports
- Monitor procurement costs against project budgets
- Support finance with procurement documentation
- Coordinate with plant teams for material deliveries
