We are looking for an experienced and organised Merchandiser for our infant wear brand. The person will be responsible for coordinating between design, sampling, production, vendors, and sales to ensure products are developed and delivered on time with the right quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the complete merchandising process from sampling to final production.
- Follow up with vendors, job workers, fabric suppliers, printers, embroiderers, and accessory suppliers.
- Maintain production timelines and ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Prepare and update product sheets, costing sheets, order details, size ratios, and production status reports.
- Coordinate with the design team for fabric, trims, colours, prints, measurements, and sample corrections.
- Check samples and production pieces for quality, finishing, measurements, and overall look.
- Ensure all packaging, labels, tags, polybags, and branding requirements are ready before dispatch.
- Handle buyer/distributor queries regarding styles, quantities, delivery dates, and product availability.
- Track pending materials and production issues and solve them proactively.
- Maintain proper records of orders, samples, approvals, and vendor communication.
Requirements
- Experience in garment merchandising, preferably in kidswear / infant wear / baby clothing.
- Good understanding of fabrics, trims, garment construction, sizing, printing, embroidery, and finishing.
- Strong follow-up skills and ability to manage multiple styles and vendors at once.
- Basic knowledge of Excel, costing, order sheets, and production planning.
- Good communication skills in Hindi and English.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced garment production environment.
Pay: ₹13,206.57 - ₹40,000.00 per month
