Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and creative Senior Architect to lead architectural design and project execution from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will oversee design development, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards, and deliver high-quality projects within budget and schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design process from concept, schematic design, and design development through construction documentation.
- Develop innovative, functional, and sustainable design solutions aligned with client requirements.
- Prepare and review architectural drawings, specifications, presentations, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, landscape, interior, and external consultants.
- Ensure designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior architects and design teams.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
- Attend client meetings, presentations, site visits, and coordination meetings.
- Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, material approvals, and RFIs.
- Monitor construction progress and provide architectural support during project execution.
- Identify design risks and recommend practical, cost-effective solutions.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous process improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture.
- Registered Architect (preferred, where applicable).
- 3-4 years of professional architectural experience.
- Proven experience in commercial, residential, hospitality, industrial, or mixed-use projects.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in architectural design and project coordination.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office.
- Working knowledge of BIM workflows and project documentation.
- Experience with visualization tools such as Lumion, Enscape, or 3ds Max is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of building materials, construction techniques, and detailing.
- Knowledge of local building regulations, codes, and statutory approvals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
