Job Title: ELV Technician (Extra Low Voltage Systems)Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable ELV Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in security, communication, and automation systems with a strong understanding of cabling and system integration. Visiting sites and field works.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, test, and maintain ELV systems such as:
- CCTV & Video Surveillance Systems
- Access Control Systems (Biometric, RFID, Door Controllers)
- Fire Alarm Systems
- Public Address (PA) & Voice Evacuation Systems
- Structured Cabling (LAN, Fiber, Telephone)
- Video Door Phones & Intercom Systems
- Intrusion & Burglar Alarm Systems
- Perform site surveys and assist in system design and layout
- Terminate, label, and test copper and fiber cables
- Troubleshoot faults and ensure timely resolution of issues
- Coordinate with project engineers and site supervisors
- Prepare installation reports and as-built documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications
- Provide basic user training and handover support to clients
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / ITI / Certification in Electronics, Electrical, or related field
- Strong knowledge of ELV systems and low-voltage cabling
- Experience with CCTV brands like Hikvision, CP Plus, Dahua, Honeywell, etc.
- Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, switches, PoE)
- Ability to read drawings, layouts, and schematics
- Familiarity with testing tools and ELV equipment
Experience
- 1–4 years of hands-on ELV installation and maintenance experience
- (Freshers with relevant training can also apply)
Soft Skills
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work at project sites
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Basic communication and reporting skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
