Business Development Manager

About the Role:
Ada Lovelace Technologies LLP is looking for an energetic and result-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead the growth of CareerYatraa, our AI-powered career guidance and college discovery platform.
CareerYatraa helps students make informed career decisions by providing AI-based career counselling, college recommendations, mock tests, career assessments, resume building, internship opportunities, admission guidance all on a single platform.
As a Business Development Manager, your primary responsibility will be to expand the CareerYatraa ecosystem by partnering with colleges, universities, schools, coaching institutes, and training organizations while also driving student registrations and platform adoption. You will act as the bridge between educational institutions and students, helping both benefit from CareerYatraa's digital ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Institutional Partnerships
- Identify, approach, and onboard colleges, universities, schools, coaching institutes, and training partners.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with principals, directors, placement officers, admission teams, and management.
- Represent CareerYatraa during campus visits, education fairs, seminars, workshops, and institutional meetings.
Student Acquisition & Engagement
- Drive student registrations and platform adoption through colleges, online campaigns, seminars, webinars, and career events.
- Promote CareerYatraa's AI Career Counselling, College Discovery, Mock Tests, Resume Builder, Career Assessments and other student services.
- Conduct awareness sessions to help students understand how CareerYatraa supports their academic and career journey.
- Work closely with institutions to maximize student participation and engagement.
Business Development
- Generate new business opportunities through LinkedIn, cold calling, email campaigns, referrals, networking, and field visits.
- Prepare proposals, negotiate partnership agreements, and close institutional collaborations.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and update all activities through CRM.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business development targets.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and identify new growth opportunities.
- Support the promotion of Ada Lovelace Technologies' digital solutions whenever applicable.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong relationship-building and networking abilities.
- Experience in Business Development, Institutional Sales, EdTech, Education Sales, Corporate Relations, or B2B Sales.
- Ability to engage with senior decision-makers in educational institutions.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable with field visits.
- Good understanding of CRM tools and lead management.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 1–5 years of experience in Business Development, EdTech, Institutional Sales, or Education Partnerships.
- Experience in student acquisition, education consulting, or career services will be an added advantage.
- Bachelor's degree is mandatory. MBA/BBA/Marketing background is preferred.
