About the Role
ACME School, Guntur is seeking a highly motivated and concept-oriented Physics Teacher for Classes 6–10. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject knowledge, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to develop analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities among students. The teacher will be expected to deliver engaging, application-based Physics instruction aligned with CBSE standards and encourage students to think critically and scientifically.
Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Responsibilities
- Teach Physics concepts to students of Classes 6–10 in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
- Build strong conceptual understanding through practical examples, demonstrations, experiments, and real-life applications.
- Train students in analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and systematic problem-solving techniques.
- Conduct regular numerical problem-solving sessions and application-based learning activities.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, tests, and question papers aligned with competency-based learning.
- Guide students in understanding formulas, derivations, graphs, and scientific principles effectively.
- Encourage curiosity, scientific inquiry, and active classroom participation.
Student Performance & Mentoring
- Monitor student progress and identify areas requiring academic support.
- Provide additional guidance to students needing improvement in conceptual clarity and numerical application.
- Motivate students to develop confidence in Physics and related scientific subjects.
- Prepare students for school assessments, Olympiads, competitive exams foundation, and higher-level analytical learning.
Laboratory & Practical Learning
- Conduct Physics practicals, demonstrations, and hands-on activities wherever applicable.
- Ensure proper usage and maintenance of laboratory equipment and safety standards.
- Integrate experiments and activity-based learning into classroom teaching.
Assessment & Documentation
- Design and evaluate assessments with a focus on conceptual understanding and application skills.
- Maintain student records, assessment data, corrections, and progress reports.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
Coordination & School Responsibilities
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and academic coordinators for curriculum planning and smooth execution.
- Participate actively in school academic initiatives, workshops, parent meetings, and school events.
- Contribute to creating a strong academic culture focused on excellence and critical thinking.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Physics or related field.
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience teaching CBSE Physics for middle and secondary classes.
- Strong familiarity with CBSE curriculum, competency-based education, and assessment patterns.
