Position: Food & Beverage Captain
Department: Food & Beverage Service
Experience:
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Food & Beverage Service, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or captain role, preferably in a hotel or resort.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise the daily operations of the restaurant and ensure smooth service.
Lead, train, and motivate the service team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Welcome guests, assist with seating, and ensure prompt and courteous service.
Take orders when required and ensure accurate and timely service of food and beverages.
Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service standards.
Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, ensuring prompt resolution.
Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments to ensure efficient operations.
Prepare duty rosters, assign daily responsibilities, and monitor staff performance.
Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and proper table setup in all dining areas.
Monitor inventory of service equipment and report shortages or damages.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and company policies.
Requirements:
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Food & Beverage Service in a hotel or resort.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Good knowledge of food and beverage service standards, restaurant operations, and guest relations.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Well-groomed, professional, and customer-focused.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Language Skills:
English – Excellent communication skills.
Malayalam – Mandatory.
Hindi – Preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or Food & Beverage Service is an added advantage.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
