The Civil Engineer is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing civil construction activities while ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion of projects. The role involves coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site.
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Prepare project schedules and monitor progress against planned timelines.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, clients, and subcontractors for smooth project execution.
- Review drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications before execution.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at the worksite.
- Monitor material consumption and coordinate with the procurement team for timely material availability.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to quality control procedures.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Verify contractor bills, measurements, and work completion certificates.
- Identify and resolve technical issues arising during construction.
- Attend site meetings and provide technical inputs to stakeholders.
- Ensure proper documentation, including site records, inspection reports, and as-built drawings.

- Coordinate with MEP and other disciplines to avoid execution conflicts.
- Support project completion, testing, and handover activities.
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 3–8 years of relevant experience in building construction, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of construction methodologies, quality standards, and safety practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project planning tools is preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of civil construction.
