Key Responsibilities1. Business Development & Market Expansion
- Identify new consulting opportunities in infrastructure, environmental, and engineering sectors.
- Develop relationships with government departments, public sector organizations, and private sector clients.
- Explore business opportunities in EIA studies, environmental compliance, infrastructure consulting, and sustainability projects.
2. Tender Monitoring & Bid Management
- Track tenders and RFPs from government portals such as GeM, CPPP, and state procurement portals.
- Coordinate with technical teams to prepare technical proposals, financial bids, and tender documentation.
- Ensure compliance with tender requirements, timelines, and submission procedures.
3. Client Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, consultants, and project partners.
- Represent the company in client meetings, project discussions, and industry events.
- Support negotiation and finalization of consulting contracts.
4. Proposal Development
- Prepare Expressions of Interest (EOI), pre-qualification documents, and project proposals.
- Coordinate with environmental experts, engineers, and project managers for proposal inputs.
- Ensure high-quality documentation aligned with client requirements.
5. Market Research & Strategy
- Monitor trends in infrastructure development, environmental regulations, and consulting services.
- Identify emerging opportunities in sustainability, environmental impact assessments, and engineering advisory services.
- Provide market insights to senior management.
6. Reporting & Coordination
- Maintain sales pipeline, client database, and business development reports.
- Track project opportunities and revenue targets.
- Work closely with management to achieve company growth objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- MBA in Marketing / Business Development preferred.
- 4–8 years of experience in business development within engineering consulting, infrastructure, environmental consulting, or related sectors.
