Core Responsibilities
- Shipment Logging: Accurately inputting freight details, bill of lading (BOL) data, and cargo weights into company databases.
- Proof of Delivery (POD) Management: Scanning, verifying, and logging signed delivery receipts to ensure shipments have reached their correct destination.
- Documentation Verification: Cross-checking invoices, delivery notes, and inventory reports against source documents to spot errors or missing information.
- Data Quality Audits: Routinely performing quality checks on shipment milestones, RFID tag entries, and transit times to maintain data integrity.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Identifying damaged cargo, shortages, or route delays in the system and flagging them to logistics coordinators for immediate action.
- Reporting: Generating daily or weekly data reports covering shipment volumes, operational efficiency, and carrier performance.
Key Requirements
- System Proficiency: Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools, supply chain portals, and standard spreadsheet software like Microsoft Excel. [1, 2, 3]
