We are looking for a Electrical Costing & Estimation Engineer (Switchgear)
Experience: : 5–7 years in a Panel Manufacturing unit.
Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel (Advanced) and AutoCAD (to read SLDs).
Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
Salary : UP TO 45K

Job Description :-
1. Technical Core Competencies
A qualified engineer must understand the internal architecture of various panels to cost them accurately.
- Main LT (Low Tension) & PCC (Power Control Center): Knowledge of high-capacity busbar sizing, air circuit breakers (ACBs), and structural compartmentalization.
- MCC (Motor Control Center): Understanding of starter types (DOL, Star-Delta, VFD, Soft Starters) and control wiring.
- APFC Panels: Costing of capacitor banks and reactive power controllers.
- Component Selection: Ability to select the right make (e.g., ABB, Siemens, Schneider, L&T) based on client specifications.
2. Essential Responsibilities
- BOQ Preparation: Reading electrical single-line diagrams (SLDs) to prepare a detailed Bill of Quantities.
- Busbar Calculation: Calculating the weight and cost of Aluminum or Copper busbars based on current rating and temperature rise.
- Enclosure Costing: Estimating the cost of CRCA steel sheets, powder coating, and fabrication labor.
- Vendor Management: Negotiating with switchgear and component vendors to get the best "buy prices" for competitive bidding.
- Labor & Overheads: Factoring in the cost of wiring, assembly labor, testing, and transportation.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
