About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and motivated MERN Stack Backend Intern to join our development team. This internship is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates who want to gain hands-on experience in building scalable backend applications using the MERN stack. You will work closely with experienced developers on real-world projects while learning industry best practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
- Design and manage databases using MongoDB.
- Build secure, scalable, and high-performance RESTful APIs.
- Integrate backend services with frontend applications.
- Debug, test, and optimize application performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and project managers during development.
- Participate in code reviews and team meetings.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+).
- Understanding of Node.js and Express.js.
- Familiarity with MongoDB and database operations.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and JSON.
- Understanding of Git and version control.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Preferred Skills
- Basic understanding of React.js.
- Knowledge of authentication methods such as JWT.
- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman.
- Exposure to cloud platforms or deployment concepts is a plus.
Eligibility
