scanO is building technology that makes dental care more accessible and efficient. We work closely with dentists, clinics, and partners to create solutions that improve patient care and practice growth. We are looking for a Digital Marketing Intern (Video Editor) to help us create compelling visual content that brings our brand to life. The ideal candidate is creative, driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- You will own the editing bench for our marketing content: short-form social videos, product explainers, event footage, and the graphics that go with them. You will work alongside the marketing team and get direct exposure to how a health-tech brand is built.
- No prior professional experience needed. We evaluate on portfolio, creative instinct, and how fast you learn.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Edit short-form video for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn, plus longer product and event cuts
- Design thumbnails, social graphics, and promotional assets
- Maintain an organised asset library of raw footage, audio, and project files so anyone on the team can find and reuse work
- Join content brainstorms and pitch your own video concepts, not just execute briefs
- Test new editing styles, formats, and AI-assisted tools, and share what works
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- A portfolio or showreel. This is mandatory. Share links to edits, personal projects, freelance work, or social accounts you have run
- Demonstrated interest in video editing built through personal projects, coursework, freelance work, or internships
- Comfort with at least one video editing tool: Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, CapCut
- Working knowledge of Canva and basic to intermediate Adobe Photoshop
- Any academic background. We care about skill and creativity, not the degree
REQUIRED TOOLS
- Canva, with proficiency in quick designs, templates, and social graphics.
- Adobe Photoshop, with basic to intermediate skills in visual editing and thumbnail design.
GOOD TO HAVE (BONUS SKILLS)
- After Effects or motion graphics
- Hands-on use of AI creation tools such as Midjourney, Runway, Sora, ElevenLabs, or ChatGPT
- Understanding of aspect ratios, platform specs, and what is currently working on each platform
- Basic sense of copy and hooks, since good short-form is written before it is cut
