Job Responsibilities
- Develop zero-based costing / should-cost models for various components and assemblies.
- Analyze and estimate costs for casting, machining, stamping, and plastic moulding parts.
- Read and interpret engineering and technical drawings to support cost development and supplier discussions.
- Lead and support PSAT-based cost negotiations with suppliers to achieve cost reduction targets.
- Work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to validate cost structures and manufacturing processes.
- Support sourcing and procurement activities using SAP, including PO processing, pricing updates, and vendor data management.
- Handle import-related activities, including coordination and review of import documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, BOE, etc.).
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to cost optimization and supplier performance.

B. E / B. Techin Mechanical
Diploma in Mechanical
Technical Details
- Strong expertise in Zero-Based Costing / Should Cost methodologies.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes: casting, machining, stamping, and plastic moulding.
- Strong capability in PSAT cost analysis and negotiations.
- Proficient in SAP (MM or relevant procurement modules preferred).
- Good understanding of import handling and documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
