Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer to join our design team. The role involves supporting senior designer across residential and commercial projects—from concept development to site execution. This is an excellent opportunity for a young designer to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced design studio.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior designer in developing design concepts, layouts, and mood boards
- Prepare drawings, presentations, and client-facing material
- Work on space planning, furniture layouts, and basic detailing
- Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and contractors
- Assist with material selection, specifications, and sample management
- Visit project sites for measurements, coordination, and execution support
- Prepare BOQs and assist with documentation as required
- Ensure design intent is followed during execution under guidance
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Interior Design or Architecture
- 0–2 years of relevant experience (freshers with strong portfolios are welcome)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
- Basic knowledge of SketchUp / 3D software (mandatory)
- Understanding of materials, finishes, and furniture
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
