The Accountant at New Farmers Agri Development Multi State Cooperative Society Limited (NFAD Society) is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with the Society's accounting policies and statutory requirements. The role includes recording daily financial transactions, preparing cash books, ledgers, journals, bank reconciliation statements, and financial reports. The Accountant manages accounts payable and receivable, verifies vouchers and supporting documents, processes payments and receipts, and monitors branch accounts for accuracy. The position also involves preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, assisting with budgeting and financial planning, maintaining fixed asset registers, calculating and filing applicable taxes, coordinating with auditors during internal and statutory audits, and ensuring compliance with GST, TDS, Professional Tax, and other applicable regulations. Additionally, the Accountant supports the finance team in maintaining member contribution records, loan disbursement and repayment accounts, deposit schemes, insurance-related financial transactions, and other financial activities of the Society while ensuring confidentiality, financial accuracy, and timely reporting to the management.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
