Job Summary
Derma MD Clinics is looking for a qualified and patient-focused Medical Officer (MO) to support the clinical operations of the clinic. The Medical Officer will be responsible for patient consultation, clinical assessment, treatment coordination, maintaining patient records, and ensuring compliance with clinic protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial patient consultations and basic clinical assessments.
- Understand patient concerns, medical history, and treatment requirements.
- Assist in planning and coordinating appropriate aesthetic/dermatology treatments as per clinic protocols and scope of practice.
- Explain treatment procedures, expected outcomes, precautions, and aftercare instructions to patients.
- Monitor patients during and after procedures and identify any adverse reactions or concerns.
- Coordinate with dermatologists, doctors, therapists, and other clinical staff for patient care.
- Maintain accurate and updated patient medical records.
- Ensure proper documentation of consultations, treatments, and follow-ups.
- Handle patient queries and provide appropriate medical guidance within the scope of practice.
- Follow all clinic SOPs, hygiene standards, safety protocols, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of medical equipment and clinical supplies.
- Report any medical concerns, complications, or incidents to the appropriate senior medical authority.
- Participate in patient follow-ups and treatment reviews as required.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and professional ethics at all times.
Educational Qualification
- BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) or
- BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)
Candidates must have the applicable registration/licence required to legally practise in the relevant jurisdiction.
Experience
- Freshers and experienced candidates may apply.
- Experience in dermatology, aesthetic medicine, cosmetology, skin clinics, or healthcare will be an advantage.
