Experience: 5–8 years in Packaging Store/FG Store in a manufacturing industry (preferably hand tools, auto components, or engineering products).
Job Purpose
To manage the Packaging Material Store efficiently by ensuring uninterrupted availability of packaging materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, minimizing wastage, and supporting production and dispatch activities while adhering to quality, safety, and 5S standards.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage receipt, storage, preservation, and issue of packaging materials.
- Ensure timely availability of cartons, boxes, labels, poly bags, straps, tapes, pallets, stickers, and other packaging consumables.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/SAP or manual stock registers.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock verification and reconciliation.
- Monitor minimum, maximum, and reorder stock levels.
- Coordinate with Purchase for timely procurement of packaging materials.
- Issue packaging materials against authorized requisitions from production and dispatch.
- Maintain FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
- Ensure proper identification, stacking, and storage of materials.
- Monitor packaging material consumption and control wastage.
- Prepare daily stock reports, consumption reports, shortage reports, and aging reports.
- Coordinate with Quality, Production, PPC, and Dispatch teams.
- Verify inward materials against Purchase Orders and Delivery Challans.
- Ensure compliance with 5S, safety, and warehouse housekeeping standards.
- Lead store staff and allocate daily work responsibilities.
- Support annual physical stock audit and internal audits.
- Ensure zero stock mismatch and maintain complete documentation.
Pay: ₹336,771.61 - ₹720,000.63 per year
