Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher for our CBSE school. The candidate will be responsible for promoting physical fitness, sportsmanship, and overall well-being of students through structured physical education programs and sports activities in accordance with CBSE guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct Physical Education classes as per CBSE curriculum
- Train students in indoor and outdoor sports, yoga, fitness, and drills
- Organize and manage sports events, annual sports day, inter-school competitions
- Ensure student safety during physical activities and maintain discipline
- Assess and evaluate students’ physical performance and progress
- Maintain sports equipment and playground facilities
- Encourage healthy lifestyle habits and teamwork among students
- Coordinate with class teachers and school management for student development
- Maintain records, attendance, and reports as required by CBSE norms
Eligibility & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed / M.P.Ed / D.P.Ed)
- Experience in a CBSE school will be an added advantage
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and manage students of different age groups
Experience:
- Freshers or experienced candidates may apply
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of CBSE sports and PE guidelines
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- First-aid knowledge is preferred
- Passion for student fitness and holistic development
