Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Layout Design Intern to join our team. This internship is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in showroom layout planning, space utilization, and visual design for fitness equipment and retail environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating 2D and 3D showroom layouts for fitness equipment.
- Support the design team in preparing floor plans and layout drawings.
- Help optimize showroom space for better product display and customer experience.
- Prepare design presentations and layout concepts.
- Make revisions to layouts based on feedback from the design team.
- Coordinate with sales and operations teams to understand showroom requirements.
- Maintain design files and documentation.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in retail, showroom, and interior design.
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Visual Merchandising, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar design software.
- Good understanding of space planning and layout principles.
- Creative thinking with strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of 3D visualization or rendering software.
- Interest in fitness, retail, or showroom design.
