The Customer Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing all customer-related financial transactions, including invoicing, payment follow-ups, account reconciliation, collections, and query resolution. The role requires close coordination with the Sales, Operations, Projects, and Accounts teams to ensure accurate billing and timely payments.
The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build professional relationships with customers while safeguarding the company's financial interests.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Account Management
- Maintain accurate customer account records and ledgers.
- Create and update customer profiles, billing details, and payment terms.
- Monitor customer account balances and outstanding dues.
- Maintain customer-wise receivable records and account statements.
- Ensure proper documentation of customer transactions.
Billing & Invoicing
- Generate and issue customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
- Verify billing details with Sales and Project teams before invoicing.
- Ensure GST compliance in all invoices and customer transactions.
- Process debit notes, credit notes, and adjustments when required.
- Share invoices and account statements with customers.
Accounts Receivable & Collections
- Track outstanding customer payments and follow up regularly.
- Coordinate with customers regarding pending payments and payment schedules.
- Prepare aging reports and receivables analysis.
- Escalate overdue accounts to management when necessary.
- Assist in reducing outstanding receivables and improving cash flow.
Customer Relationship Management
- Act as the primary contact for customer billing and payment-related queries.
- Resolve discrepancies related to invoices, payments, and account balances.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
- Ensure professional communication while handling sensitive financial discussions.
Reconciliation & Financial Accuracy
- Reconcile customer accounts and ledgers regularly.
- Match payments against invoices and receipts.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual account closing activities.
- Ensure accuracy of financial records and reports.
Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with Sales, Projects, Stores, and Accounts departments.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Provide management with updates on collections and outstanding receivables.
- Support audits by maintaining organized financial records and documentation.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and GST regulations.
- Maintain proper filing of invoices, receipts, agreements, and customer correspondence.
- Protect confidentiality of financial and customer information.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
