Position: Transport Manager
Job Summary
Adithya Global School is seeking an experienced and proactive Transport Manager to oversee and manage all transportation operations of the institution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant transport services for students and staff while maintaining excellent relationships with parents, drivers, and internal stakeholders. Prior experience in the School and College sector is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day transportation operations of the institution.
- Plan and optimize vehicle schedules and routes to ensure safe and timely transport services.
- Supervise, guide, and evaluate drivers and transport staff.
- Maintain the vehicle fleet and ensure compliance with transport regulations, safety standards, and institutional policies.
- Handle transport-related documentation, permits, licenses, insurance, and regulatory requirements.
- Address parent queries, concerns, and complaints related to transport services in a professional manner.
- Monitor transport expenses, including fuel, maintenance, and operational costs.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and service issues, implementing corrective measures where necessary.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth transportation operations.
- Ensure uninterrupted transport services by arranging alternate drivers or taking operational responsibility during driver absenteeism or emergencies.
- Continuously improve transport efficiency, safety, and service quality.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate in any discipline; additional qualifications in Transport, Logistics, or Administration are preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Transport or Logistics Management.
- Experience in the School & College Sector is Mandatory.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of transport regulations, safety standards, and fleet management.
- Proficiency in Transport Management Systems and MS Office applications.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
