Job summary:
We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to design, develop, and optimize high-quality SAP solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ABAP on HANA, RICEF objects, and integration with modern SAP technologies like Fiori/UI5.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms)
- Implement ABAP on HANA best practices (CDS Views, AMDP, optimized Open SQL)
- Design and enhance SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Scripts
- Work on Enhancements (User Exits, BADIs, Enhancement Framework)
- Develop and consume OData services for Fiori/UI5 applications
- Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and ensure adherence to SAP standards
- Support data migration using LSMW, BDC, and BAPIs
- Troubleshoot performance issues using SQL Trace, Runtime Analysis, and ATC tools
Required Skills:
- Strong expertise in ABAP (Classical & Object-Oriented Programming)
- Hands-on experience with ABAP on HANA (CDS Views, AMDP, SQL optimization)
- Experience in OData services and SAP Fiori/UI5 integration
- Knowledge of Enhancement Framework (BADIs, User Exits)
- Experience with Forms (SmartForms, Adobe Forms)
- Strong debugging and performance tuning skills
- Familiarity with SAP Workflow and integration scenarios
Good to Have:
- Experience with RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)
- Knowledge of ABAP Cloud / Clean Core principles
- Exposure to SAP Business Application Studio (BAS)
- Familiarity with SAP BTP and cloud integrations
- Knowledge of SAP Gateway, Fiori annotations, Service Binding
- Experience with test automation tools (eCATT/SECATT)
